As you guys know Jermaine is my new fave and when I came across this video it made love him even more. I think it is cute that him and Drake both had crushes on Aaliyah they both are keeping her memory alive. To say I am an Aaliyah fan is an understatement, I remember learning how to do the dance routine to Are You That Somebody and I would wait for the video come on so I could break it down like her. I use to wish I had long hair to cover my eye like her, she was sexy but not slutty a great role model to look up too.
I have too many favorites songs of hers to name but my absolute favorite is I Care 4 You, I don't listen to it often because it makes me cry the melody is haunting and the lyrics although I know she singing about a guy, now I take those lyrics as her singing to her fans. Music Note Lay It Down G -Mix feat Jeezy & R. Kelly
I have a serious thing for Lloyd since Southside with Ashanti and I have never been disappointed until Lay It Down came out his voice didn't sound the same, but he refuses to let this song ago and after a remix featuring the original artist Ms. Patti LaBelle he decided to remix it for the G's and the streets. I can ride with this even though Lloyd sounds extra loud on it ,and Jeezy must have gotten my tweet because here he is only for a brief moment, but it sounds to good to hear his voice on my speakers again. Kelly sounds cool on here with his freestyle.

Yeah I am late but....
I am really loving B.o.B these days after watching the premiere of The Game on Tuesday, I was loving the song they were playing at the beginning and I asked on twitter what song was it and my NYC homie Ms. Toya and said it was called 'Don't Let Me Fall'. I downloaded the track and I have been listening to it non stop. I recommend it as my track of the week.....

The Game
Last night was the big premiere of The Game on BET and boy it did not disappoint me at all. After The Game was cancelled by the CW (but Top Model cycle 100 is still there) but I digress, fans protested hard to bring The Game back to television, and for the first time ever BET did something right and brought the beloved show back. The show started two years ahead in time with Derwin as the face of Nike and him raising the child he has with Janay. Dr. Melanie Burnett Davis is the insecure woman she always was and she went as far to give DJ a paternity test without Derwin consent. FOUL
Tasha Mack is back as Derwin's manager which I was surprised about but hey Derwin is the face of Nike, so I guess Ms. Mack still has the magic touch. Everything is alright in Tasha's personal life as well she has her a young boo thing played by Terrance from 106 & Park, yes that Terrance. I was critical of his performance at first but after watching the episode again I was impress. A dark spot for Tasha is Kelly Pitts or shall I say the former Mrs. Pitts.
Kelly I really dislike her character this season so far, it is like she came back a totally different person, her makeup was dark and her was slick back she looked hard. She is currently filming a reality show about her life with and after Jason. Why is the new Brit Brat like 16 years old? She needs to be recasted like yesterday.
Jason is holding out on his contract with The Sabers to get more money but he doesn't want to traded to another team. He dating a young women but really was Stacy Dash not available to reprise her role I would love to see that storyline continue.
Now on to Malik Wright the 40 million man isn't as hot as he use to be, he feels downgrade by his team now that Derwin's is the golden boy. Instead of taking the high road Mr. Wright decides to bang his boss's wife played by Meagan Good and they are not keeping things on the low either, making out in club bathroom and being out in public. Will Malik return to golden days?
TT is now an owner of a chicken truck he is done playing Malik's flunky. He called Malik out on BS and told him to get it together. He always got himself a life partner or so he thought until he caught her up in a hot tub with Meagan and Malik. FOUL!!!!!!!
After telling Derwin that DJ's wasn't his son and after Derwin confronted Janay about DJ being his son, Mel gets a phone call from her saying there was a mistake and DJ is indeed Derwin's son...... DRAMA!!!!! What would you do in Mel's case? I would personally tell Derwin the honest to God truth, and let the chips fall were they may.
The season will be interesting I can't wait tune in on Tuesday's 10:00/9:00CT on BET.

When Jay and Kanye announced that their six songs EP, Watch The Throne will become a full fledged CD I was over the moon with excitement, that I would get ten plus song CD from two of my favorite rappers. On paper it sounds perfect besides Jay and Ye have done collaborations before and they each have been great. Starting with Ye's uncredited rap on Blueprint 2 The Gift and The Curse to Haters on Blueprint 3.
And with the announcement on New Year's Eve that Watch The Throne will drop the next week the internet was set on fire with anticipation of the CD dropping, but it was cleared up quickly that a single will drop on 1-11-11 and the cd was coming in March. Mr. West tweeted the art work for the single of the tracked titled H.A.M. and my 1st thought was Hot Ass Mess but it actually stood for Hard As A Mutha. So right after midnight Ye dropped the track and it was just ok, the beat was to spooky to me and I think Ye borrowed a Weezy line that is from a recent song, Ye gotta let a line breathe at least a year first, Ye. Jay sounds young and fresh, and he had a good line "you niggas don't have my lady's money" but other than it was just ok.
In my book they are 0-2 because That's My Bitch was blah too. Are we setting the bar too high? I think not they are suppose to be the best in the rap game. Ye's MDTBF has gotten the best cd reviews of last year in numerous magazines and blogs and was number one on many of the same people's list too. Jay is considered to be the best rapper alive in many circles, sorry Weezy but it is true, and so far they are failing me hard. Maybe it is what's Bitchie tweeted "Jay and Ye may be at the point in their careers that people will think everything they put out is hot .... even if it's....." I hope the cd sounds better because I am still playing my 10.81 for it the day it hits stores.

Music Note : Ciara
After multiple delays Ciara's Basic Instinct came out late last year and I had been slow on listening to it but I finally gave it a real chance yesterday. There is a running theme throughout most of the tracks do not try to holler at CiCi if you don't have any money. The majority of cd is produced by Tricky and The Dream which I thought would be a bad thing but I actually enjoyed the cd immensely.
Basic Instinct (You Got Me) ~ I love this track but I wish she would have said the curse words, the beeps take away for the track. I wonder if she was firing shots at someone during her rap? "You got me up off my twitter." LOL
Ride featuring Luda ~ I have always enjoyed the balance of Luda and CiCi on the same track, going all the way back to 'Oh' so I knew I would like this song. In a perfect world I wish they would drop a best of both worlds type cd. The video was banned but BET which was a blessing in a way it bought more attention to the video and song. Like they say in the business bad promotion can be considered a good thing.
Gimme Dat ~ Eh. It is the only track I skip it does nothing from me at all, it sounds like a leftover from her 'Goodies' cd
Heavy Rotation ~ Ciara's smooth vocals are telling a story about a guy she doesn't want other people to know she is feeling him, and even though he has company at his house she wants him to "turn your bed into a dance floor and to lock the door and turn the music up loud" she wants Heavy Rotation "all night long" I can dig it.
Girls Get Yo Money ~ I wonder if Phareda from ATL housewives heard this song? It is one of her don't holler at me, if you ain't got no money song. In the song she says "They always wanna holler but they ain't got no dollars" Ciara is encouraging women to get their money, the song a new Scrubs for this generation.
Yeah I Know ~ This track is hilarious to me Cici says "You wanna take me home but you ain't got no home, You ain't got a job, all you do is get high. You got a brand new car but you ain't got no gas". LOL how is paying that car note with no job CiCi? She does realize that there are better men out there for her. I love the track
Speechless ~ This song leaked a long time ago but I love the story. CiCi is basically singing about having more time with her boo. She needs an extra day, month and holiday to kiss her boo all over his face. Awww I love it "Your love is my muse"
You Can Get It ~ Ciara took the saying and did a whole song about it. I know several male celebs probably wish this song is for them. Keeping her potential boo on a low key basis "Once you get it what you going to do with it?"
Turn It up feat Usher ~ I want a video for this!!!! I wish Usher had more of his vocals to himself. She is singing about hearing her favorite song in the club and being losted in it. Ciara let's us hear another rap to, but I still feel the song.
Wants For Dinner ~ You can holler at her boo all day but he always comes home to her. Period. "You can entertain him all day long but I know what he wants for dinner"..... "Huff and puff, try all your stuff but my love is built out of bricks and your love is built out of sticks."I see ya CiCi nursey rhyming it up. I am digging the island feel on this too.
I Run It ~ A song for the bedroom. I love a sexy track......Ciara runs the bedroom and the house she makes it known on this song.
Rating 4 out of 5 stars.
The Dream and Tricky equals magic with Ciara. I wish more people would give Ciara a chance with this cd she has a few hidden gems on here.

I am so excited about the music coming out this year. I plan on buying plenty of cds and I will keep you posted on what's coming out, but so far we have:
Jay and Kanye cd will be EPIC I can't wait for H.A.M to drop next Tuesday. I am hoping there will be a tour for this cd, I am so there!!!!.
BEYONCE!!!!!!! my queen is finally making her way back to music this year and I can't to here what she has popping for us.
Gaga will be back as well and she has already this is the best cd of the decade. Her new single is coming next month and the cd will drop in May.
Weezy will be returning after his time in jail with the Carter 4 . 6'7' gets plenty of play my way the beat is bananas.
Drizzy Drake Rogers have Take Care on the way for us, I admit I just started liking TML, I was one of the fans that wanted a So Far Gone part 2 but TML is good in it's own right.
Can somebody please find Jeezy so I can get my TM103? I mean I miss his voice so much.

Random.....
The end of 2010 was a struggle for me I lost my job, recieved unemployment and lost it because I took a job a should not have and then all my hair started falling out like crazy.
I was beyond stressed my friends, mom and boo held me down. I keep wondering what my lesson I was to learn. I never been so broke in my life, sometimes I felt so alone and started to regret my decision to not to finish college. I filled out a million applications for jobs and I think I had five interviews and I felt defeated and like a failure. I started wondering was God listening to me I stopped going to church and I only stayed in the house. When my boyfriend wanted to go out I declined I was too worried about what people thought of my hair by this time it was coming out in patches every time I combed it. That did nothing for my self esteem which was in the toilet and I didn't think it would come back. Then one day my friend called me about a job starting next week and my whole world changed after all the struggle I was back after that one phone call. I'm grateful for the adversity, so now I can really appreciate the sun. I will never be broke again that is for sure....

I never went hungry, I had places to stay, if I needed to go somewhere I had gas and clean clothes. I had wonderful advice from friends to keep me sane. I learned there are some people worst off than me with no one to turn too. I learned to not rush into to things and actually have a plan. I turned 30 and I was thinking this isn't what my life was suppose to be like but I can't change past but I am going full steam ahead.
I am off to a fresh start and I will never regret the nights I cried and the moments I wanted to give up. I have no idea what the future holds but I have big dreams and I pray I can achieve what I want by next year.

L.Lohan I am so tired of people promoting her being in rehab, I mean there are young people watching the media talk about leaving rehab..... I promise as I write this they are talking about her on NBC.
