I have been wondering with has happen to the stars I grew up with Britney, Christina, and Amerie these stars are the same age as me and they seem to be getting out done by the younger kids these days, and I am not just speaking performances wise, I know you don't move the same at 29-30 as you did when you were 19-20. The younger artist music seems to have more mean..take Frank Ocean for example his mix tape is awesome and he is 23.
Britney doesn't even dances anymore and that was her selling point because we all know she lip sings.... she has lost it and she looks like her heart isn't in her music anymore.
Christina's last CD tanked so bad I can't tell you the name of it but boy she can sang.
Justin Timberlake hasn't dropped a CD in almost 5 years because he has become a "movie star" but I think he is scared he won't be able to live to the awesomeness that was Future Sex Love Sounds but I think he can.
Jessica Simpson has become a billion from her shoe line that is fabulous.
Most R&B stars disappear quicker than anything
What happened to Amerie? her 1st CD was wonderful but her 2nd one was eh and I have the CD.
Eve is a rapper her 1st CD was the bomb she expressed her pit bull in a skirt image very well but after her song with Gwen Stefani she fell off.
Brandy who I love has a difficult road in music as of late, she has downgraded herself to being a reality show star and her last CD Human, I can't name one song beside Long Distance off of that CD
Lauryn Hill dropped the classic, 5 time Grammy winning, diamond plus selling Cd The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill and she just lost it and had a ton of children and God knows what else. Recently Ms. Hill seems to be making a comeback by touring..
Bobby V's first CD was awesome and the his wackness just cancelled him out.
I almost wrote Usher off because he took so long to follow-up his diamond plus selling Confessions and then he dropped Here I Stand and people hated it, I actually loved that CD very much it told the story of where he was at that particular time in his life....then Papers almost killed me that laughable tune was crazy and then Raymond vs Raymond came out I was pleased. He should give up on the dancing tho and let Chris have it because he is always out of breath.
Destiny's Child broke up and Beyonce as we all knew became one of the biggest starts on earth and she cancelled many careers in the process see: Mya, Ashanti, Amerie, etc........
Kelly Rowland has been trying to get it together with her solo career and was overlooked she had some hits with Nelly and Eve and has been during euro-pop music overseas but her new single Motivation is blowing up everywhere and I can't front I love it.
