I don't know where I have been but I am all over J. Cole now. I have been listening all his mix tapes since this weekend nonstop. In The Morning is the song that started it all, there are two versions one with Drake and one without (which I like better). J Cole is a mixture of Pac, and Nas wrapped up in one, his voice is raw and rugged and his flow is ridiculous. I know his story a little bit by him being the first artist signed to Jay's Roc Nation label and Who Dat his 1st single but I barely paid attention to the record. He is a college grad with honors and very mature. I really waiting for his debut to drop I hope early next year, I pray Shawn Carter do not keep him on the back buner. Until then I will allow Friday Night Lights to hold me over.
